Internal SAP FICO Consultant - Mechelen / Belgium wide
Are you an experienced SAP FICO Specialist ready to make a real impact in a growing international environment? We’re looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join a fast-paced and forward-thinking organization at its European HQ in Mechelen.
As an SAP FICO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA projects while helping our internal teams drive business transformation.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
* S/4HANA Implementation: Lead or contribute to full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation projects, from blueprinting and design to go-live and post-go-live support.
* Financial Process Optimization: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze and improve financial workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP FICO modules (FI & CO) to meet business requirements, ensuring best practices are followed.
* Cross-Module Collaboration: Work closely with other SAP teams (SD, MM, PP, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of financial processes across the organization.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance system performance and reporting capabilities.
* Reporting & Compliance: Develop financial reports and dashboards, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Your Knowledge & Experience:
* Proven expertise in SAP FICO, ideally with experience in S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
* Strong understanding of financial accounting (FI) processes.
* Experience with integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, etc.).
* Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
* Passion for staying at the forefront of SAP Finance technology and continuous professional development.
