About the Role
As an Offer & Solutions Engineering Manager (OSEM) within our Project & Services team, you will be the bridge between customers' challenges and Thales' most innovative solutions. Working closely with the sales team, you will lead technical engagements from the initial conversation to the final proposal, ensuring every solution is technically solid, commercially competitive, and tailored to each client’s needs.
What You'll Do
* Act as the main technical interface between customers, partners, and the internal solutions team throughout the sales cycle.
* Understand and translate complex customer requirements into compelling, tailored technical solutions.
* Lead technical workshops, product presentations, and consulting sessions with prospects and strategic clients.
* Drive Proof‑of‑Concept (PoC) executions and live demos to validate solutions and win deals.
* Own the technical response in bids and tenders, including cost structure validation and challenge of third‑party proposals.
* Assess and onboard local partners, defining Statements of Work (SOW) and technical evaluation criteria.
* Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams through structured Engagement Reviews and complete all required activities within the agreed timeframe.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* 5+ years of experience in Presales, Solutions Engineering, Technical Sales, or related roles.
* Full professional fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
* Solid technical background in at least one area: software/solution architecture, IT infrastructure, cloud, cryptography, PKI, mobile or smart card systems.
* Strong communication and presentation skills—ability to simplify complex concepts and inspire confidence.
* Willingness to travel across LATAM.
