LET’S TALK ABOUT THE ROLE
As a maintenance engineer you are responsible for the good condition of all our installations in the warehouse, you will oversee the maintenance of the automated systems in a fast-paced production environment. Your tasks and responsibilities will include solving electrical & mechanical malfunctions, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, managing technicians & machine operators in your shift, minor adjustments in PLC programs on S7 and promoting safety and environmental awareness.
HOW DO YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE?
What will you do:
1. You are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the installations in our warehouse (Mini load, conveyors, erectors, winding machines, inline printers, ...). Both preventive maintenance and fundamental troubleshooting are part of your duties. You base yourself on plans, diagrams, or documents of the constructor.
2. You participate in the improvement of the installations, with a focus on the optimization of PLC controls that contribute to process improvement or the comfort of our operators.
3. You participate in the implementation and start-up of installations and/or machines: (electrical) switch boxes, PLC controls, electromechanical drives....
4. You keep inventory of our parts and give recommendations for orders.
How will you do this:
5. You will keep schedules and documentation up to date.
6. You will provide technical assistance to technicians.
7. You report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with production supervisors, Machine operators and other technicians (in-house technicians and subcontractors).
8. You direct the technicians and machine operators on your shift so that all work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

SKILLS FOR SUCCES
9. You have at least a bachelor's degree (electromechanics or automation).
10. You have at least 7 years of experience in a maintenance department of an automated company.
11. You have a good knowledge of electromechanics and frequency controls.
12. You have knowledge of PCS7, Tia Portal, Siemens S7, S7 graph.
13. You are communicative and analytically strong.
14. You can function both independently and in a team.
15. You express yourself fluently in English.
16. You have strong PC knowledge (Mail, office, ...).
17. You can work safely and have no problem working at heights (Max. +/-25 meters).
18. You like to work in shifts (Mon-Do: 6h-14h / 14h-22h; Fri: 6h-13h / 13h-20h).
