Context of the request
The role of
Quality Performance Lead
is created in the context of a
global QMS transformation program
within a leading biopharmaceutical organization. The objective is not only to redesign and harmonize the Quality Management System, but also to measure Quality performance in a holistic and value-driven way, far beyond traditional Quality metrics. This role plays a key part in defining how Quality is measured, monitored, and translated into actionable insights at a global level, supporting senior leadership decision-making.
Typical Day (Stakeholder-oriented & Collaborative)
Leading or contributing to workshops to define KPIs, targets, thresholds, and escalation rules.
Challenging existing metrics to ensure they are meaningful, decision-oriented, and aligned.
Working closely with experts to build and maintain the Quality KPI pyramid (operational -> tactical -> strategic).
Interacting with the IT/Data team to ensure KPIs are correctly translated into dashboards and visual tools.
Participating in global calls with international stakeholders and senior management.
Preparing insights and narratives for Management Review and governance forums.
Balance : The role is not purely technical; alignment, negotiation, and communication are central.
Seniority : Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience due to the high level of senior stakeholder interaction (VPs, leadership teams).
Must Have
Proven experience in implementing a Quality measurement or KPI system.
Experience in a regulated environment (Pharma, Nuclear, Aviation, or similar).
Strong understanding of Quality processes (GxP preferred).
Ability to design and manage end-to-end performance frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to challenge experts constructively and drive alignment.
Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution.
Comfortable working in complex, global, matrix organizations.
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of Power BI or other dashboarding tools.
Change management experience related to system or process implementation.
Strong “tech savviness” (understanding system constraints, data logic, visualization principles).
On-site : 2 days per week on-site (standard company policy).
Presence : On-site presence is mainly encouraged for team meetings and workshops. xphnsxz
