For one of our clients, we are actively looking for a Senior Accountant Team Lead for a company in Brussels.
Our client is an international industrial company specializing in technical solutions and equipment aimed at optimizing production processes across various sectors (food industry, chemicals, materials, etc.).
Operating at a European level and part of a global group, the company works within a structured environment, with ongoing transformation and financial process harmonization challenges.
In this context, they are looking for a Senior Accountant capable of taking ownership of accounting operations and supporting the finance function on a daily basis.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the full accounting management of several entities and ensure the reliability of financial data.
You will work operationally while supervising a small team and supporting the finance department.
Responsibilities
General Accounting
* Manage accounting from A to Z (purchases, sales, banks, payroll, fixed assets)
* Perform accounting entries and monitor transactions
* Carry out bank reconciliations and account matching
* Monitor accounts receivable and payable
Closing & Tax
* Prepare monthly and annual closings
* Handle end-of-period entries (provisions, cut-offs, etc.)
* Prepare VAT returns and tax obligations
* Reconcile revenue with declarations
Treasury & Monitoring
* Prepare supplier payments
* Monitor collections and follow up with clients
* Contribute to cash flow management
Support & Improvement
* Supervise and mentor two junior accountants
* Implement and improve internal procedures
* Participate in ERP implementation and optimization
* Collaborate with external auditors
Administrative Tasks
* Manage the accounting inbox
* Monitor supplier contracts
* Archive and organize documents
* Provide occasional administrative support

💰 Salary: €4,000 – €4,500 gross/month (flexible depending on profile)
