Your Main Responsibilities:
1. Play an active role in the improvement of the financial and business reporting processes
2. Participate in the yearly budgeting process and the monthly follow-up of actuals .
3. Understand, challenge and communicate the monthly results with stakeholders & management across our international sites, ensuring alignment between local and group-level reporting
4. Project / Cost controlling and monitoring including profitability calculations as well as ensuring the billing and margin recognition of all projects in due time
5. Follow-up KPI’s production
6. Support the preparation of the annual financial accounts & audit process
7. Assist the head of controlling in the preparation of monthly performance reports for the ExCom
8. Analyze investment requests and advise on CAPEX/OPEX approvals
9. Act as a true business partner: advise operational and international teams on key financial and strategic issues, and make proactive recommendations to optimize business performance
Your Profile :
10. Master’s degree in finance or economics
11. At least 5 years of experience in business controlling; 10 years of overall experience in an industrial environment is strongly preferred
12. Proven experience in industrial controlling within an international environment, with a strong track record in business partnering across cross-functional and multinational teams
13. Strong financial skills (general accounting principles in BEGAAP, cost accounting, financial analysis…)
14. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, complex financial models) — a core requirement for this role; good knowledge of PowerPoint
15. Ideally, the knowledge of reporting tools, such as Power BI
16. Ideally, the knowledge of SAP
17. Knowledge in French, Dutch and English.
18. Highly autonomous and self-driven: able to manage priorities independently, take initiative and deliver results with minimal supervision
19. Analytical and curious mind
20. Team player, assertive, strong in communication, proactive and stress-resistant
