As Payroll Officer in our Payroll Department for Maritime Crew, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration for our colleagues working on dredging and offshore projects. In this role, you combine administrative precision with service-oriented support, contributing to the wellbeing of our 550 seafarers.
Your responsibilities
Create and maintain personnel files in our payroll software, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Verify and validate timesheets for maritime crew members.
Preparing and discussing employment contracts.
Handle payroll-related questions and requests, providing clear and timely answers.
Handling onboarding and offboarding documentation.
Collaborate closely with your colleague to manage payroll for approximately 550 seafarers across dredging and offshore divisions.
Perform administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy, as manual work remains an important part of this role.
Your profile
You hold a bachelor's degree and have an administrative background; 1–2 years of payroll experience is an asset.
You can set priorities and maintain a flexible attitude in a dynamic environment.
You have an eye for detail and guarantee a service- and quality-oriented approach.
You have an interest in and affinity with social legislation.
You are proficient in MS Office.
You work independently but value teamwork.
You express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
