Security Solution Architect – CISO Division
Hybrid – 8 days per month on-site in London, Brussels, Paris, or Amsterdam
Initial 12-month contract (extendable)
We're looking for a highly experienced Security Solution Architect to join the Security Solution Architecture squad within the CISO division of a leading global financial market infrastructure provider.
This squad plays a pivotal role in embedding security architecture best practices across IT initiatives, ensuring that end-to-end solutions meet functional, non-functional, security, and resilience requirements while aligning with enterprise architecture standards.
What You'll Do
* Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end architecture solutions for cross-division IT initiatives and security domains.
* Act as the linking pin between Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and target architectures.
* Contribute to the development of Solution Architecture practices, building reusable patterns and reference architectures.
* Collaborate with CISO product owners and IT engineers to solution product requirements and services.
* Support capability target architectures & roadmaps, participate in communities of practice, and share best practices across divisions.
* Provide mentoring and guidance to other architects and delivery teams.
What We're Looking For
* 10+ years' experience in IT, with a proven track record of reporting to senior management.
* Experience as a Security or Enterprise Solution Architect on large-scale transformation programs.
* Expertise in Cyber Security architecture and risk frameworks (SABSA, ISO 27001, NIST).
* Experience designing and deploying mission-critical transactional systems in complex organizations.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to influence at senior levels.
* Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures, TOGAF, SAFE, and agile operating models is a plus.
* Financial services experience is advantageous.
* Must be proficient in English.
