What you will do:

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive growth of our Digital/Building Management Services business in BeNeLux. Your mission is to expand our service footprint by selling new subscription-based contracts across multiple vertical markets.

You will identify and qualify new opportunities – from fresh installations, untapped existing sites, or targeted new accounts – and build strong customer relationships. Through a consultative approach, you will uncover needs such as energy efficiency, occupant experience, regulatory compliance, and sustainability goals, then design compelling value propositions powered by OpenBlue, our digital SaaS platform. From proposal to contract negotiation, you own the sales cycle and secure long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Achieve annual sales targets through new OpenBlue and service contract wins, aligned with pricing and sales guidelines.
2. Prospect, qualify, and engage new customers, collaborating closely with project managers, service engineers, and peers across Johnson Controls.
3. Build C-level relationships, understand operational challenges, and position OpenBlue as the solution in all verticals.
4. Develop and execute account strategies with leadership support as needed.
5. Monitor market trends and competitive offerings in digital building services.

Your Profile

6. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related) or equivalent qualification (e.g., state-certified technician).
7. Strong background in Building Automation, Energy Management, or Smart Buildings.
8. Fluent in Dutch and English.
9. Experience in building services or facility management markets.
10. Experience engaging senior executives and driving new customer acquisition.
11. Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
