About the Role
Within the Process & Development department, you will join the team where your main responsibility will be to manage and optimize activities related to raw materials in a GMP environment, from sourcing to qualification and testing.
Main Responsibilities
* Raw Material Sourcing & Evaluation
o Identify and research new raw materials in line with project and process needs
o Analyze technical and regulatory documentation from suppliers
o Participate in the qualification and approval of new raw materials
* Specification Management
o Draft and update raw material specification sheets (technical and quality specifications)
o Ensure specifications comply with GMP and internal quality standards
o Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Production to validate specifications
* Testing & Validation
o Define and coordinate tests and trials for new or modified raw materials
o Analyze test results, document conclusions, and propose recommendations
o Contribute to process optimization and troubleshooting related to raw materials
* Supplier Management
o Identify, assess, and select potential suppliers in collaboration with Purchasing and Quality
o Support supplier qualification and audits when required
o Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and continuity of supply
Profile Requirements
* Education: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmacy, or related field
* Experience:
o 4–6 years of experience in a similar role (Process, R&D, Industrialization, or Quality)
o Strong experience with raw materials in a GMP environment (pharma, biotech, cosmetics, or similar regulated industry)
* Technical Skills:
o Solid knowledge of GMP principles and raw material management
o Experience in drafting and managing technical specifications
o Familiarity with laboratory tests, analytical methods, or industrial trials
* Soft Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Ability to work in a cross-functional team (Process, Quality, Purchasing, Regulatory)
o Good communication skills and autonomy
o Fluency in French is required
