Plan Administrator – CAD Designer - 12-month contract - Brussels
Our important client is currently looking for a Plan Administrator – CAD Designer for a 12-month contract in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable.
Description
1. Modifications to technical diagrams, structures, and plans
2. You receive updated models and process them into the technical installations.
3. You analyse the assignment and collect additional information when required.
4. You visit customer sites to verify whether the received plans correspond with the actual situation.
5. You study existing drawings and sketches.
6. You draw and update detail constructions, technical diagrams, and plans using specialised software.
7. You report deviations, irregularities, or issues to the responsible project manager.
8. You ensure that all required information is included in the plans so they can be integrated into the technical monitoring platform (Hypervisor).
9. You upload plans into the system and take action based on reports to obtain correct and validated plans.
10. You update plans based on feedback from the control rooms.
11. Plan archiving
12. You correctly archive all plans in the digital archive (AutoCAD Vault).
13. You ensure clear and accurate version control.
14. Knowledge development
15. You stay up to date with new functionalities within the drawing software.
16. You follow additional training where necessary to strengthen your expertise.
17. Documentation & standardisation
18. You provide clear descriptions and legends (e.g. symbols for detectors) to be applied across all plans.
19. You define standards and base patterns for all technical drawings.
20. You develop a uniform structure for naming conventions, document frames, and templates, aligned with the business.
21. Supporting documentation
22. You create clear supporting documents for customers and suppliers.
23. You determine the correct format and medium (e.g. colour, size) depending on requirements.
Conformity Criteria
The candidate must meet all of the following minimum requirements:
* Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or at least 5 years of relevant experience in technical drawing / plan management within a building technology context.
* CAD / BIM: Minimum 3 years of recent experience with AutoCAD; experience with BIM collaboration platforms (e.g. BIM360 or equivalent) and with a DMS with version control (e.g. AutoCAD Vault or equivalent).
* BMS / Hypervisor: Proven experience with importing and configuring plans in a BMS / technical monitoring platform (Hypervisor) or equivalent; basic fault analysis during import.
* As-built & standardisation: Experience with on-site verification and with the creation and use of legends, symbol sets, naming conventions, and templates.
* Languages: Dutch or French, and English (spoken and written) at a level suitable for technical communication and documentation.
* References: Minimum 2 references (from the last 5 years) including description, tools used, role, duration, and contact person.
* Availability: From 01/05/2026; available for on-site visits in Belgium.
Evaluation Criteria
• Technical approach & methodology
Concrete plan for plan analysis, as-built verification (including site checks), corrections, and import into the BMS / Hypervisor.
Quality assurance: version control, naming conventions, templates, audit trail.
• Relevant experience & comparable references
Proven experience with cameras, fire detectors, access control, intrusion systems; multi-site environments; collaboration with control rooms.
• Knowledge of your BMS / Hypervisor environment
Added value for proven hands-on experience with BMS / Hypervisor or functionally equivalent platforms: import workflows, mapping, testing protocols, troubleshooting.
Evidence: description of previous integrations, anonymised screenshots/manuals, lessons learned.
