One of my Global Automotive Clients are seeking an experienced SailPoint Engineer for a 12-month freelance mission, with a very high likelihood of extension. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly technical IAM engineer to design, build, and enhance SailPoint solutions within a large-scale, modern environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, engineer, and maintain custom workflows, rules, connectors, and provisioning logic within SailPoint (IdentityIQ or IdentityNow)
* Integrate SailPoint with enterprise systems, cloud services, and directories, optimizing APIs and connectors
* Engineer and optimize automation using Beanshell, Java, JavaScript, and related technologies to support identity lifecycle processes
* Design and implement role-based access models, entitlement structures, and access governance policies
* Monitor platform health, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure stable and scalable SailPoint operations
* Collaborate closely with engineering, security, and architecture teams to deliver enterprise-grade IAM solutions
Requirements
* Proven hands-on engineering experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow
* Strong understanding of IAM architecture and principles, including RBAC, access governance, authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management
* Experience engineering IAM solutions in large, complex enterprise environments
* Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement them end-to-end
* Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical designs and decisions clearly
