Your challenge
As a Software Engineer C#, your main focus is to guarantee the smooth operation of our business applications as used by a variety of teams. You are involved in the implementation of new features and error correction in existing applications using C# in an Azure Cloud context. After gaining experience, you'll also participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of new functionalities and in conceptualizing new applications.
You Are Responsible For
* Devising optimal solutions for specific applications in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* Working with Azure Cloud tools including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Azure Services.
* Providing training and support to colleagues from other departments.
* Representing OMP in meetings with external partners, especially regarding integration of applications and data storage.
* Supporting the use of third-party applications like Salesforce and Omnitracker.
* Developing web tools for reporting.
Your team
As a .Net Software Engineer, you’ll join the Software Development team within Product Development, which focuses on domains like demand and supply planning, UX, data science, integration, and solvers. These teams drive our product roadmap, share OMP’s vision, and create scalable software solutions for complex supply chain challenges.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with:
* A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Good knowledge of object-oriented programming.
* Profound knowledge of C#/C++ and the .Net Core framework.
* A passion for high-quality software development.
* Eagerness to learn and stay updated on latest technologies.
* Understanding of RESTful architecture and asynchronous programming.
Bonus Points If You Have
* Relevant experience, including internships.
* Knowledge of design patterns, UML, algorithms, multi-threading, distributed systems.
* Experience with UX, React.
* Experience with Azure integration patterns (Event Hub, Functions, API Management, Web API).
* Experience with cloud-native tech, streaming frameworks, event-driven architecture, microservices, message brokers, caching, Kubernetes, containers, NoSQL, Azure.
* Knowledge of distributed system principles and architecture.
