ICT Project Manager – HR
Initial 1 year contract (freelance) + possible extensions

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ICT Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic HR and Workplace initiatives aimed at enhancing our people processes, systems, and employee experience. These initiatives may include the implementation or optimization of HR and Workplace related systems (e.g., workforce management, talent management), as well as broader transformation programs across the organization.
You will be end-to-end responsible for the preparation, successful realization, and delivery of HR and Workplace project initiatives, ensuring alignment with objectives, scope, budget, and timeline as defined in the project charter. With your strong project management expertise, you will coordinate and monitor all aspects of the project, including stakeholder engagement and change management, while adhering to our methodology and quality standards.
The assignment:
Project Planning & Coordination:
* Define and maintain an up-to-date, comprehensive project plan that identifies deliverables, work breakdown structure, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies.
* Coordinate, motivate, and support the project team to achieve objectives effectively.
Vendor Management:
* Manage and coordinate ICT vendors (software, hardware, and consultancy) to ensure alignment with project goals.
Governance & Reporting:
* Establish required project governance, organizing project team meetings and steering committees.
* Present key elements for decision-making at steering committees, including impacts and alternatives.
* Regularly report on project progress, budget, risks, and issues to the ICT Business Partner, Team Leader, and ICT PMO Manager.
Execution Excellence:
* Ensure projects are executed in line with agreed standards and methodology, including quality gating and thorough testing before release to production.
* Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans to address challenges effectively.
Change Management:
* Lead communication, training, and post-go-live support to ensure successful adoption of the solution.
Handover to Operations:
* Ensure knowledge transfer and operational handover before project closure.
Single Point of Contact:
* Act as the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders involved in the project.
Required knowledge and skills:
Education & Experience:
* A master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Proven track record in project and change management, preferably within HR or people-related domains and Microsoft 365.
* Experience delivering HR transformation projects (e.g., HRIS, workforce management, talent or performance systems) and/or affinity with project execution in relation to Microsoft M365 integrations.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile/SAFe), applied pragmatically.
* Experience with HR systems (e.g., workforce management tools such as ATOSS, HRIS platforms, or talent systems) and Microsoft M365 stack is a strong advantage.

* Team player with a no-nonsense attitude and the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams.
* Strong analytical skills for planning, budgeting, and problem-solving.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Fluent in English (Dutch knowledge is a plus).
Technical Tools Expertise:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, OneDrive, etc.).
* Experience with Azure DevOps is a significant advantage.
Preferred Experience:
* Experience in workforce management, time & attendance, or scheduling solutions (e.g., ATOSS).
* Familiarity with HR processes such as payroll, workforce planning, talent management, and employee lifecycle management.
* Experience working in complex, fast-paced, and cross-functional environments.
