We’re currently supporting a leading organization on a strategic SAS migration programme and are looking for a Freelance Senior Functional Analyst to join the team.
Your mission
You will play a key role in the replacement of legacy SAS applications, contributing to both business process analysis and functional solution design.
Key responsibilities
* Analyze and document business needs (AS-IS / TO-BE)
* Facilitate workshops with stakeholders (FR/NL)
* Translate requirements into functional specifications
* Perform gap analysis and propose improvements
* Contribute to solution design and decision-making
* Manage and detail the product backlog (user stories, use cases)
* Support data modeling, mock-ups, and functional design
* Define test scenarios & acceptance criteria, and validate solutions
* Ensure alignment between business and IT stakeholders
Your profile
* Senior experience as a Functional Analyst
* Experience in application or database migration projects
* Strong background in business analysis & functional design
* Experience with Agile / Scrum environments
* Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Skills
* BPMN, business requirements, data modeling
* User stories, use cases, backlog management
* Workshop facilitation & stakeholder management
* Testing & functional validation
Languages
* Dutch & French: professional level required
* English: good working proficiency
