Our client, a dynamic company operating in the Services industry, is currently seeking a Consolidation and Reporting Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities.
The key responsibilities of the candidate will be the following:
- Consolidation: Manage the consolidation process for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS or GAAP.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and other financial disclosures.
- Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and provide commentary on financial performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with finance teams, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Projects: Support ad hoc projects and research accounting topics related to new and existing transactions.
Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or auditing (Big 4 experience is an asset).
- Proven experience in group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, elimination entries, and multi-entity reporting under IFRS.
- Strong understanding of IFRS standards.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets. Knowledge of BI tools is an asset.
