Ph3What You'll Do /h3 ul liCompliance team, reporting to the Head of Legal Compliance. /li liAct as a senior member of the Lotus Legal Compliance team, working closely with the Head of Legal Compliance to provide strategic legal support and commercial consultancy across the global business, with a primary focus on Europe. /li liSupport the commercial function by advising on a broad range of legal and strategic matters, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide variety of commercial contracts, as well as communications with suppliers, distributors, and commercial partners. /li liAdvise on and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial arrangements, with particular focus on distribution, retail and aftersales agreements; IP licensing agreements; procurement agreements for the supply of goods and services; and related sales and distribution documentation, including compliance with EU data protection requirements. /li liCollaborate closely with Lotus subsidiaries and external counsel across multiple jurisdictions to support global product compliance initiatives and corporate governance matters. /li liProvide company secretarial support for European legal entities. /li /ul h3What You'll Bring /h3 h3Essential /h3 ul liBelgian or French-qualified lawyer, with around 5-7 PQE. /li liEnglish speaking. /li liExcellent knowledge and demonstrable experience in all kinds of Distribution and Procurement Agreements. /li liExcellent communication/relationship building skills with an ability to influence at all levels both internally and externally. /li liStrong negotiation skills in both domestic and cross-border transactions. /li liWell organised and efficient with an ability to multitask. /li liAutonomous, structured working method. /li liCreative and result oriented. /li liTeam player with a strong sense of ownership and collaborative support. /li liExperience in an international environment is mandatory. /li liExperience in commercial contracts and licensing is mandatory. /li /ul h3Desirable /h3 ul liExperience as an in-house lawyer within a corporate group is strongly preferred. /li liExperience in the automotive industry. /li liAdditional European languages like French or Italian. /li liQualification in Italian Law is a plus. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul li25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays. /li liPension scheme access. /li liAnnual bonus – non contractual. /li liFamily Friendly policies. /li liExclusive Employee discount, wellbeing and recognition platform. /li /ul pSalary range is dependent on experience. /p pThis role will be based in Belgium. /p h3Equal Opportunity /h3 pWe welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing reasonable adjustments during the interview process.
