We are seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer (EPLAN) to support a high-priority industrial revamp project. This is a fast-paced contract role requiring both strong design expertise and hands-on site involvement, with potential for ongoing work beyond the initial phase.
The Project
You'll be working on the electrical rebuild of an existing industrial installation — not a greenfield project. This means:
* Updating and redesigning existing electrical schematics in EPLAN
* Supporting the rebuild and verification of electrical cabinets
* Playing a key role during a critical shutdown window
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and engineer electrical drawings in EPLAN
* Analyse and translate legacy installations into updated designs
* Validate and verify electrical cabinets
* Provide on-site technical support to electricians
* Assist with testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
What We're Looking For
* Strong EPLAN experience (engineering level, not just drafting)
* Solid background in electrical hardware design
* Experience with retrofit / legacy systems
* Ability to work on-site and under tight timelines
* Confident acting as the technical reference on site
