ADVANCED FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
Our client is a leading security integrator in Belgium, providing solutions for fire detection, video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection. They serve B2B clients across industries including banking, utilities, government institutions, healthcare, and logistics. As the project department continues to grow, they are seeking motivated candidates to join as Field Service Technicians, focusing on preventative and corrective maintenance of security systems.
Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive maintenance on Building Management Systems (BMS), fire detection, and security systems to ensure optimal performance
* Diagnose and perform corrective maintenance on hardware, software, and network-related issues
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems at customer sites, minimizing downtime
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
* Conduct on-site training and provide guidance to customers on proper system operation
* Assist in system upgrades, replacements, and commissioning of new equipment as needed
* Collaborate with subcontractors when required for specialized installations or repairs
* Report maintenance activities and technical issues directly to the Field Service Leader
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of BMS, fire detection systems, and security systems
* Strong networking knowledge, including IP-based systems and system integration
* Experience in the security sector is a plus; strong electronics and ICT knowledge is required
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Customer-focused with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ideally located in the greater Antwerp or Brussels region
* Fluent/Native Dutch is required; English and French are a plus
* Must hold a valid driving licence
