What will your job be?

Being responsible for the implementation of the commercial strategy, you will be in charge of a client portfolio: major accounts and BEL20, in various industries: Energy-Utilities, Finance, Retail, Telco Transportation, Pharmaceutical, Public Sector...

You :

• gather knowledge about the companies and understand their complex environments & challenges,

• prospect and build customer loyalty by contacting decision makers (C-Levels) to identify new projects and needs,

• are the voice of the client internally, you'll play a central role in the team., and work in close collaboration with the HR & consulting teams, to identify the perfect consultants for each project or need,

• build competitive and relevant proposals to create the best answer (consultants’ team, expertise, conditions),

• get to know, analyse and challenge the consultants’ expertise and manage long term relationships with them

• analyze the decision-making and buying processes and sign business deals (closing and negotiation),

• take an active part in process improvements: every idea/ feedback is welcome!

What is a typical day like?

· 20% of prospection (calls, emails & meetings),

· 50% of project follow-up with your clients & consultants,

· 20% research & collaboration with the HR team,

· 10% internal meetings,

· ... and don’t forget lunch on Friday with the team!

• UpWider is a scale-up in Management Consulting, based in Brussels, created in 2013, by Claude, our CEO.

• Our aim? Helping our clients (large international companies) in the execution of their strategic development.

• How? By providing them with our expertise within 4 fields: Business and Market Development, Market and Data Intelligence, Digital and ICT management, Operational Excellence.

You :

· hold a bachelor OR master

· have sales and commercial skills & mindset : a fierce commitment to achieving results and sign deals.

· speak French. Your fluency in English will enable you to interact on a daily basis with Bel 20 C-level executives and expert consultants with over 15 years' experience.

· have the sens of humour :) Our days are full. Our good mood gives us the strength to overcome obstacles.

· You'll have a very varied day, with no boredom, as you'll be doing 3 jobs in 1: business development, HR and project management.

What about training ? 2 main aspects and more ....

· Theorical e-trainings : with over 10 years of experience, we have developed sophisticated processes and know-how that you will follow during your onboarding week (approx. 5 x 2 hours).

· Learning by doing and coaching by Claude, who has already had two successful business start-ups in the consultancy sector, will share with you his 25 years of professional experience in the sector.

· Learn.. learn ... and learn every day! Through your work, you will be aware of all the major challenges facing your key accounts, which are major players in their markets.

· Work closely with the CEO and be part of tomorrow’s management team

· How can you develop in the future? It's your turn to recruit and coach junior business developers when you're ready.
