EOS Aremas Belgium is a medium-sized company with approximately 80 employees, located in the heart of Brussels. Your responsibilities
1. You represent the interests of your customers in the Tribe & Squad which means you anticipate customers needs and market evolution.
2. You work together with the Squad and the stakeholders to build & prioritize a product backlog that you map into a roadmap and break down into user stories, respecting the agile principles
3. You ensure the prioritization of the backlog, adapting value-based prioritization method, to cover build, run and maintenance needs
4. You clarify risks proactively and find solutions for impediments to your projects/backlog together with the stakeholders, the tribe members, and the squad members.
5. You actively participate in the different ceremonies of the Squad, such as the Sprint Planning, the Sprint Review, and the Refinements.
6. You are part of the Management Team and report to the Managing Director, you are supported by the parent companies Alpha Credit & EOS Group
Your Profile
7. You have previous experience as a Product Owner or a Project Manager.
8. You thrive in dynamic settings where you constantly must (re-) prioritize.
9. You are structured, pragmatic and have good negotiation skills.
10. You have excellent communication and people management skills.
11. Technical skills/knowledge like SQL, HTML, Java scripts, Jasper soft, Camunda are a plus but not a must at all.
12. Ideally, you have experience working in a financial institution and/or working closely together with an IT department,
13. You are Dutch-speaking or French-speaking and have a good knowledge of the other language, and you are also fluent in English.
