Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a "Deskundige Mobiliteit" at Lokaal bestuur Kraainem. The professional in this role will focus on developing and implementing mobility plans to improve local transportation systems. Responsibilities include analyzing traffic and mobility data, proposing sustainable mobility solutions, coordinating with various departments and stakeholders, and addressing mobility-related citizen concerns. The role is based in Kraainem, with an option for occasional work from home.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of traffic management, urban mobility planning, and sustainable transportation infrastructure
* Analytical and data interpretation skills for mobility and traffic analysis
* Project coordination and stakeholder communication skills, including liaising with local authorities and teams
* Proficient in legislation and policies related to urban mobility and transportation systems
* Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setup
* Fluency in Dutch, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Possession of a relevant academic background in urban planning, transportation management, or a related field
* Experience in governmental or municipal environments is considered an advantage
