* In your role as Lead Data Engineer MS Fabric, you will work closely with colleagues on Data and AI projects for companies operating in various industries. These projects are mainly executed in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. Given your seniority, you are able to take the lead in these projects.
* As a Lead Data Engineer, you will help our clients build scalable data platforms and work on projects in various industries, each with their own challenges.
* Together with the team, you develop the ETL flows needed to retrieve the data from the source systems, transform it according to the predefined business logic, and integrate it into the central data warehouse or offer it on the central data platform. Data quality and robustness of the ETL processes are of great importance.
* As a Lead Data Engineer, you will also be a specialist in the conversation with the customer to come up with the best Azure Data solutions. You will transform the functional and technical requirements into the data solutions of the future.

* You have a bachelor or master degree, preferably in (Business) Computer Science or Business IT & Management or a related field.
* You are passionate about data driven solutions and you have an infectious enthusiasm about data & cloud services.
* You have more than 5 years of experience in some or all Microsoft Azure Data Services (MS Fabric, Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Explorer, Azure DevOps, ...)
* You have advanced knowledge of PySpark, Python, SQL and/or Scala.
* You have strong problem-solving skills and can quickly tackle complex technical challenges.
* You are a team player with excellent communication skills and can work effectively with colleagues and customers.
* You have a passion for continuous self-development and you stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Certifications in Microsoft Azure and Fabric are a plus.
