Mission
Within the Clinical team, the
Health Economics & Outcome Research
(HEOR) will have the responsibility to drive the
health economics evidence
strategy, manage the roadmap and associate collaborations for
proton therapy
and IBA proton therapy product globally.
He/She will play a key role in generating and communicating the scientific evidence that demonstrates the clinical and economic value of
proton therapy
.
Challenges we trust you with
* Define the HEOR plan and strategy for IBA products and/or product changes in proton therapy
* Work cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders (clinical team, market access, product and regulatory departments) to identify HEOR evidence needs
* Ensure HEOR needs are integrated into the overall clinical evidence generation strategy and roadmap and proactively look for synergies between stakeholders
* Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and ensure a strong scientific presence in the practicing and academic communities
* Operationalize and manage HEOR projects according to roadmap
* Evaluate external research proposals and collaborate with clinical & market access to advice on how these research proposals fit into the overall clinical evidence generation strategy
What We Value
* Strong expertise on health economics analyses, outcomes research and real world evidence (RWE) studies
* Experience in design and use of common health economic analyses.
* Understanding of health care policy; strategic understanding of the business and strategic thinking
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Previous track record of building relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical field
* Experience in the medical device industry and preferably in the Radiation Oncology space
* Proficient in English both verbally and in writing
