A Field Service Engineer is required to perform regular maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of laboratory instruments for clients across the UK and mainland Europe.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various laboratory equipment including FPLC and Bioprocess, Microplate Readers, Microplate Washers, Genevac Evaporators, Typhoon Imaging Systems, Incubators, Surface Plasmon Resonance, and Centrifuges.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations of laboratory instruments.
2. Extending the lifespan of client instruments through effective communication and troubleshooting.
3. Collaboration with customers and account team members to address customer needs.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, or engineering.
* 4+ years of experience in servicing biomedical/electronic/mechanical equipment.
