Job Description
We are seeking a Finance & HR Director to oversee finance, human resources, and office management. This role combines financial leadership, HR management, office operations, and people management to support our organization’s success and efficiency.
Finance Management
* Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with organizational goals.
* Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
* Oversee cash flow management, ensuring liquidity for operations and investments.
* Conduct financial forecasting and assess future financial needs.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws, liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies.
* Manage capital expenditures and risk management strategies.
* Collaborate with other departments to align financial and business strategies.
HR Management
* Lead recruitment efforts and manage onboarding.
* Draft, review, and manage employment contracts, ensuring legal compliance.
* Support training programs to develop employee skills.
* Ensure adherence to HR policies and Belgian labor laws.
* Oversee employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
* Manage payroll processes, liaising with external providers.
* Generate HR metrics and reports for management.
* Maintain accurate HRIS records in compliance with laws and best practices.
Office Management
* Manage office budgets, facilities, and vendor relationships.
* Oversee technology resources and IT support.
People Management
Supervise and motivate a team of two accountants, an IT manager, and a receptionist.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience, preferably within organizations of 20+ employees, with knowledge of Belgian finance and labor regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in English and Dutch or French. An advanced degree in finance or related fields is preferred.
