Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Aimbridge Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Be the link between our guests and our team in the brand-new Courtyard Hotel Ghent

For the opening of the brand-new Courtyard by Marriott hotel, we are looking for an energetic and dedicated Front Office Supervisor. Someone who not only values a flawless check-in but especially a warm “welcome home” experience for every guest.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
As a Front Office Supervisor, you are the heart of our reception — the first point of contact for both guests and colleagues. You ensure smooth front office operations and inspire your team to go the extra mile every single time.

Coordinate and support the Front Office team during day and evening shifts.
Plan work schedules according to hotel occupancy and team needs.
Handle onboarding and guidance of new team members.
Safeguard consistent service quality in line with Marriott standards.
Contribute ideas for improving daily operations and regularly align with management.
Act as a role model on the floor and actively participate in daily operations.
Handle guest feedback professionally and empathetically.
Above all: create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels appreciated and at home.

You have at least 2 years experience in Front Office (preferably within an international hotel brand).
Knowledge of Opera is plus.
You have leadership skills and know how to motivate people positively.
You communicate fluently in English; knowledge of Dutch or other languages is a plus.
You’re flexible to work shifts between 7:00 and 23:00, including weekends.
You stay calm under pressure and think in solutions.
You’re available at least 4/5 time or full-time (38 hours per week).
A background in hotel management or hospitality? Great!
If not, but you bring tons of experience and enthusiasm — that’s just as good!
