Context
As a Cybersecurity Project Manager – Operations, you act as the operational counterpart of the Cybersecurity Program Manager. Your mission is to translate the cybersecurity roadmap into concrete, planned, and executed actions carried out by the operational IT teams.
You ensure the coordination, prioritization, and planning of security initiatives, contributing to regulatory compliance (e.g. NIS2) and strengthening the organization’s overall security posture.
This role requires both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills: communication, leadership, and the ability to foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
-Translate the cybersecurity roadmap into operational action plans for IT infrastructure and support teams.
-Coordinate the implementation of technical security measures: hardening, patching, monitoring, IAM, vulnerability management, etc.
-Plan and monitor security-related activities, ensuring their integration into ongoing IT projects and system maintenance.
-Identify resource and skill gaps, proposing solutions such as training, external reinforcements, or dedicated teams.
-Serve as the main point of contact for operational security within infrastructure and support domains.
-Deliver operational outputs: execution plans, progress reports, and security dashboards.
-Contribute to regulatory compliance and certification efforts (e.g. NIS2) by documenting technical implementations and bridging strategy with execution.
Profile
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, with proven experience in technical project management and/or cybersecurity.
-Solid understanding of IT operations: systems, networks, identities, endpoints, cloud, monitoring.
-Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices: protection measures, risk management, best practices, regulatory frameworks (NIS2).
-Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate transversal actions in a complex environment.
-Analytical, structured, and results-oriented mindset.
-Collaborative by nature, with strong communication skills toward both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
