What You'll Do
* Build and deploy AI-powered features (LLMs, ML models) that deliver measurable business value in production
* Design robust backend systems and pipelines that ensure reliability, scalability, and cost control of AI workloads
* Turn ambiguous use cases into working AI solutions with clear performance metrics
* Own the full lifecycle from prototype to production to ensure models don't just work; they last
* Improve output quality through evaluation, prompt/system design, and iteration to reach production-grade accuracy
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure AI solutions are usable, maintainable, and aligned with real needs
* Introduce best practices in testing, monitoring, and governance to avoid fragile or unscalable AI systems
What you bring
* 5+ years in software engineering (Python or similar) with strong backend/system design experience
* Hands-on experience building AI/ML or LLM-based applications in production
* Ability to design systems around APIs, data pipelines, and model integration
* Experience with evaluation, debugging, and improving model outputs
* Strong understanding of trade-offs (latency, cost, accuracy, scalability)
* Proven ability to take ownership from problem → solution → production
* Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
* Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval systems (RAG)
* Exposure to MLOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, model lifecycle)
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
* Background in data engineering or distributed systems
