Job Vacancy: Freelance Project Leader – Electrical Cabling InfrastructureAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Project Leader Electrical Cabling Infrastructure to support and lead high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects. In this role, you will contribute to cable projects across voltage levels ranging from 36 kV up to 380 kV, playing a key role from initial concept through to project completion.You will be part of a dynamic infrastructure projects department and benefit from extensive training and development opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Leader, you will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle:Project Development & ExecutionContribute to project definition, studies, and design phasesTechnical ExpertisePerform and supervise technical studiesCarry out engineering calculations and analysesPlanning & BudgetingProcurementPrepare tender documentationParticipate in supplier selection and procurement processesSite CoordinationLead and coordinate on-site activitiesCollaborate closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholdersDepending on your experience level, you will either take full ownership of these responsibilities or work under guidance.ProfileMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or equivalent through experienceStrong interest in engineering and the energy sectorExperience in project management and/or site supervision is an advantageFluent in Dutch; knowledge of French is a strong plusStrong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skillsEffective communicator with assertiveness and a customer-oriented mindsetTeam player with a proactive and solution-oriented attitudeOfferA challenging role in a forward-thinking infrastructure environmentExtensive training and development opportunitiesHybrid working model with minimum 2 days on-site presence requiredLocation: BrusselsAdditional InformationFor candidates who are non-EU nationals:A valid work permit allowing employment in Belgium is required to already have.A valid residence permit confirming the right to stay in Belgium is mandatoryIf you are passionate about electrical infrastructure and eager to contribute to large-scale energy projects, we would love to hear from you!
