ContextFor one of our clients in the Belgian banking sector, we are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to support strategic transformation projects related to payments and account management systems.You will join a complex, regulated environment and work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams on high-impact banking solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse and formalize business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviewsTranslate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and process documentationAct as a bridge between business, IT, and external partnersContribute to the evolution of functional processes related to:Payments (SEPA Credit Transfers, Direct Debits, instant payments, cards)Account management (balances, transactions, postings, reconciliations)Support development teams during implementation phasesDefine and support test strategies, including UAT coordinationSupport UAT phase and post-implementation functional supportProfileMaster’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent)At least 2 years experience as a Functional Analyst within the banking sector(mandatory requirement)Knowledge of:Payment systems and flows (SEPA, interbank payments)Core banking / account management systemsGood understanding of banking IT architecturesStrong analytical, documentation and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously in a multicultural environmentTechnical & Functional SkillsRequirements and project management tools like Azure DevOpsBasic knowledge of SQL or databases is an assetLanguagesFrench: fluent (mandatory)English and/or Dutch: considered as an asset Our OfferAn indefinite contractA competitive salary, with plenty of fringe benefits included a mobility budget with the choice of a company car and/or reimbursement of public transport costs.
