We are currently looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) for one of our clients in the financial sector, based in Brussels
Your responsibilities
Project Coordination & Support
* Support project managers and stakeholders in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives.
* Ensure the proper documentation and tracking of project deliverables, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
* Facilitate coordination between business, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management standards and methodologies.
Requirements & Process Management
* Elicit, analyze, and document business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements.
* Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and subject matter experts to align business needs with technology strategies.
* Analyze and design new business processes, and identify opportunities for efficiency and optimization.
* Define key performance indicators and success metrics for project tracking and reporting.
Quality & Risk Management
* Participate in project reviews, design assessments, and quality management sessions to ensure alignment with requirements.
* Support test preparation and execution by translating requirements into test conditions and expected results.
* Monitor and manage project risks and dependencies to ensure proactive mitigation.
Governance & Reporting
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, dashboards, and progress reports.
* Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and internal control standards.
* Communicate project progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, IT, or a related field.
* Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, or PMO roles.
* Strong experience with requirements management and conceptual modelling techniques.
* Good understanding of IT systems, testing, and workflow processes.
* Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Languages:
* Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written).
