Description de l'offre

About The Role

In short, the Supply Chain Business Partner Sustainability will be the manager of the “Sustainable to Bean” model and contribute to a more sustainable cocoa and chocolate future.

The Supply Chain Business Partner Sustainability is the key figure in managing the Open Chain on both operational and strategic level. You will work with many different stakeholders, which are both internal (commercial, global supply chain, financial, customer care) and external. You add value by mapping the strategic goals of the Open Chain to valuable, achievable processes within Barry Callebaut, looking for sustainable solutions to help the Open Chain grow further.

You will steer the end to end supply chain, from bean to end product, by capturing the correct demand signal and business performance. You will implement and manage a solid governance model, which enables the different planning teams to secure flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities Include

* Managing and developing the Open Chain for sustainable growth
* Governance of the end‑to‑end supply chain of the Open Chain
* Leading the S&OP cross‑functional process

Management E2E Supply Chain

* You manage the complete E2E supply chain of the Open Chain, with help of global and regional planning teams (supply & demand). You will coordinate the planning teams in their monthly planning cycles, to secure a timely raw material availability, excellent service level and minimal waste.
* You act as a true spokesman of the Open Chain inside Barry Callebaut, and build impact amongst the organization to further develop Barry Callebaut with the sustainable Open Chain.
* You have strong experience in operational planning, and have good knowledge of the S&OP process and the challenges it can bring. You use this experience to guide the different planning teams and can take decisions in case of constraints.
* You have good project management skills and are willing to redesign the Open Chain at BC for a more sustainable future. You think ahead of the game and assess future ambitions or market reality.
* You have a solid understanding of the detailed view and how every link impacts the total chain, so that you can manage the Open Chain in its future development.

Demand

* Coordinate and validate the monthly planning cycle of the global and regional teams (cocoa, chocolate). Operational planning will be taken up mainly by the planning teams, but you will take the ownership for the final numbers.
* Challenge commercial leadership and customer assumptions where necessary, using strong data‑based analysis to ensure realism.
* You are responsible for the analysis and governance of the demand vs supply, and are in close contact with the main customers to propose optimized demand patterns.
* You have a talent for developing accurate reporting, so you can anticipate any future constraints.
* Intensively work with business partners (Commercial & Financial analysts) on risks and opportunities, communicating them appropriately to SC counterparts (provide context beyond the numbers).
* Assist the planning teams on improving forecast efficiency.
* Lead the volume budgeting process for your geographical area.

About You

* Degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain, economics or finance
* 5‑10 years' experience in integrated supply chain and ideally planning, managing a portfolio with high product and channel complexity
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP, APO, BW reporting) is a plus
* Experience with managing complex supply chain processes and with managing stakeholders from different functions and seniority levels
* Experience in business optimizations and process improvement
* Strong project management, analytics, communication and collaboration skills. Able to work in virtual teams and cross‑functional teams.
* Ability to balance day‑to‑day detail with long‑term helicopter view.
* Interested in and wanting to contribute to a sustainable, fair chocolate world.
* A strong team player.
* Fluent in English.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Positive and agile mindset, looking for continuous improvement and embracing change.
* Courage: capable of bringing bad news with enough proactivity, so we jointly focus on solutions and pragmatism.
* Integrity: secure compliance both internal and external.
