What will you be doing?
The Bid & Tender Solutions Director for EMEA ensures that PageGroup's product offering is market leading, financially, and operationally robust, while tailored to customer needs. They are responsible for leading the overall bid and tender lifecycle, combining technical expertise with customer-focused solutions to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
Main Responsibilities:
* Define and shape compelling and operationally robust solutions by designing best-in-class operating models for each opportunity, balancing the client’s unique requirements with Page Group’s own delivery model and capabilities.
* Strategize and evaluate customer data and requirements to ensure we meet their objectives, partnering with internal SMEs across operations, technology, finance, talent acquisition, and implementation to ensure that solutions are robust and deliverable.
* Drive commercial strategy by developing and validating pricing models to predict contract performance and stress-test against potential scenarios, ensuring successful commercial outcomes for both customers and Page Group.
* Govern and approve pricing submissions and contracts based on risk profile and in line with profitability guidelines, embedding a structured governance process.
* Influence and collaborate with existing customers and account managers to enhance commercial performance and pioneer commercial innovation opportunities.
* Enable and support sales performance by leveraging sales intelligence to identify market opportunities and customer targets.
* Own and refine the global sales process to ensure consistent execution, driving efficiency and conversion improvements.
* Champion best practices in CRM and sales tools to enhance collaboration and enable data-driven decision-making.
* Engage and mentor internal stakeholders across technology and talent development, coaching participants in the sales process into our established ways of working.
* Develop and lead a high-performing bid and tender team, coaching senior leaders and managers to strengthen capability, improve engagement, and drive continuous professional development.
* Synthesize and communicate sales data insights to key internal stakeholders, advising on customer engagement strategies leveraging Global Customer Agreement Library, Global Client Opportunity Form, etc. to drive effective data-based decision making.
What we are looking for?
* Successful track record in competitive tendering, including complex regional bid and proposal management.
* Proven track record of leading complex negotiations and securing favourable terms, showing advanced influencing skills.
* Experience leading a team, executing strong coaching and team development abilities to ensure high-performance.
* Proven experience leveraging insights for continuous improvement in bidding processes powered by data-driven mindset.
* Leading bid lifecycle.
* Commercial strategy expertise.
* Customer-focused solution design.
* Market dynamics understanding.
* Financial modelling expertise.
* Degree in Economics Management, Business Administration, Law or related.
* English fluent is a must. Other languages are a plus.
* If supporting a particular region, proficiency in that language may be required.
