and responsibilities
1. Lead enterprise wide Digital & IT transformation projects & programs from initiation to value realization, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, architecture standards, and cybersecurity requirements with strong focus on global process harmonization, system integrations, and digital transformation.
2. Define program structure, scope, budget, delivery model, governance, and roadmap in alignment with strategic objectives and digital/IT architecture standards.
3. Lead international, distributed, and cross-functional teams to drive project success
4. Ensure high-quality program execution through structured planning (WBS), risk management, dependency management, and milestone tracking.
5. Prepare and lead steering committees with senior leadership; drive decisions through clear options, impact statements, and risk/benefit assessments.
6. Oversee partner/ vendor delivery performance, drive RFP/RFI processes, negotiate SOWs, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and SLAs.
7. Ensure successful go lives through coordinated testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, migration rehearsals, and operational readiness.
8. Lead organizational change management, stakeholder communication, training planning, and user adoption to secure sustainable value realization.
9. Shape and mature the Digital & IT PMO, advancing delivery standards, coaching PMs, developing frameworks, and strengthening the global project management community.
Your profile as Senior Project Manager Digital & IT (m/f/d):
10. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Digital Business Engineering, or related field.
11. 10+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide IT and digital transformation projects, including global ERP transformation or equivalent large digital core systems in an engineering & manufacturing environment.
12. Proven ability to execute programs with high complexity, multi region reach, diverse stakeholder groups, and multiple delivery partners.
13. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, business process design, integration patterns, master data domains, and digital platform ecosystems.
14. Solid understanding of IT/OT security (e.g., ISO, IEC), data governance & privacy (GDPR/NIS2) and ITIL based operational processes
15. Demonstrated success using Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall delivery models with the ability to select and tailor the delivery approach based on project needs
16. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
17. High proficiency in program and project financial management, benefits realization tracking, and vendor/contract management.
18. Certifications such as PRINCE2 practitioner, Agile practitioner or equivalents are highly preferred.
19. Fluency in English required. Dutch or German is a strong plus.
