We're hiring a Mask Designer (Temporary, 1 year)Hybrid role (3 days onsite/week) Belgium | Full-time | Start: April 2026Want to shape the future of microfabrication? Join our client in designing mask sets for exploratory process flows—no PDK, no limits, just innovation.The Assignment:Collect requirements and specifications from fabrication, characterization, and application specialists.Collaborate with researchers to define the required DoE (Design of Experiments) and identify structures necessary for high-quality fabrication, including lithography marks and thickness measurement structures.Create and review designs/layouts for mask sets.Order masks and coordinate delivery to fabrication specialists.Set up test plans and testing files in collaboration with characterization engineers.Required Knowledge and Skills:Master's degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.Basic understanding of microfabrication techniques (deposition, etching, lithography). Electrical systems knowledge is a plus, but not required.Experience with design software such as KLayout or Cadence. Programming skills, especially in Python, are beneficial for efficient design creation.Strong communication and assertiveness to gather input from all stakeholders—collaboration is key to success.Highly structured and meticulous in executing and documenting work, ensuring designs can be easily reviewed and serve as a reference for the future.Hybrid role (3 days onsite/week) | Full-time | Start: 04/2026Interested?
