Mid–Senior Account Executive (Energy Tech / Climate SaaS)

Antwerp / Netherlands | Flexible Working

A fast-growing climate-tech SaaS company is expanding its commercial team and looking for a Mid–Senior Account Executive to drive new business across the Netherlands, Nordics, and Baltics.

The company operates at the forefront of the energy flexibility and optimisation market, helping organisations unlock value from distributed energy assets through advanced software and aggregation technology.

With a team of ~25 people and strong market momentum, this is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling business where you can make a real commercial impact while shaping the company's growth.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven salesperson with experience in the energy sector who enjoys building new business opportunities and managing complex deals through the full sales cycle.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you will take ownership of new business development across the Netherlands and surrounding regions.

This is a true full-cycle sales role where you'll generate opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and close high-value deals across the evolving energy ecosystem.

You will:

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry engagement

• Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to contract signature

• Engage with senior stakeholders across the energy and flexibility ecosystem

• Run discovery meetings, product demonstrations, and commercial negotiations

• Manage a structured pipeline with deal sizes ranging from €100K – €350K

• Navigate 6–9 month enterprise sales cycles

• Collaborate closely with leadership to refine sales strategy

• Travel across the Netherlands and occasionally to the Nordics & Baltics to meet clients

This role suits someone who enjoys building new relationships, picking up the phone, and creating opportunities from scratch.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a confident new business hunter who understands the energy market and thrives in a consultative B2B sales environment.

You'll likely bring:

• Fluent Dutch and English

• Experience selling within energy, energy flexibility, or energy technology

• A proven track record in solution-based B2B sales

• Strong prospecting and pipeline generation ability

• Experience managing complex enterprise sales processes

• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision makers

• High motivation, strong communication skills, and commercial drive

Candidates should be based in Antwerp, the Netherlands, or Northern Belgium, with regular travel across the Netherlands.
