We are looking for a Sales Manager for our branch in Antwerp! As a Sales Manager in the freight forwarding industry, you will be responsible for developing a Book Of Business within the Branch’s geographical reach by implementing company´s commercial strategies and products with the aim of accelerating growth. This position requires strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of logistics and freight forwarding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
How you will contribute
1. Manage Book Of business ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin
2. Liaise with Branch Operations in order to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client
needs
3. Assist clients in their day-to-day requests related to export/import quotations/negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing
4. Liaise with DP World´s internal Network and external partners in order to guarantee the best possible service assistance
5. Daily work on our CRM system in order to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be base for Field Sales Incentive Scheme
What you will bring
6. Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline
7. Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry
8. Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities ensuring the needed support from product and operations
9. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines
10. Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
11. Excellent communication skills when it comes to handling customers and a good command in English and Dutch
