DPS, part of the Arcadis Group, is looking for an E&I Engineer who is eager to take on a key role within a large-scale expansion project in a high-tech industrial environment.
You will join a multidisciplinary construction team and contribute to the expansion of an existing biotechnological production site. Ensuring production continuity is critical, making this a dynamic and challenging project environment.
We are looking for a highly communicative and hands-on professional who enjoys being present on site and working close to execution.
Responsibilities
* Follow up on site activities related to electrical & instrumentation
* Coordinate and support contractors on site
* Play an active role in contractor management
* Align with internal and external stakeholders (construction management, engineering teams, contractors)
* Support in monitoring planning, safety, and quality
* Assist with technical questions and practical challenges on site
* Ensure clear and efficient communication between all involved parties
* The role focuses strongly on site supervision and coordination, rather than pure design work.
Profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or similar
* Initial relevant experience (medior to senior level)
* Experience in an industrial project environment or site-based role
* Background with a contractor/installer is a strong plus
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
* Able to work in a structured way and maintain overview in a complex environment
* Willing to work full-time on site
Languages
* Good knowledge of French and English
* Dutch is a plus
