The role:
The
BIM Modeler
is responsible for:
Building, elaborating and managing 3D models in Revit (technical installations);
Translating design and implementation plans into accurate BIM models with attention to detail and technical feasibility;
Performing clash detections and identifying bottlenecks towards the project engineer;
Preparation of 2D plans, sections and details based on the BIM model;
Working with colleagues to keep models correct and up-to-date;
Structuring and monitoring BIM agreements, standards and model quality within projects;
Preparing quantities, extracts and other model-based information for estimation or execution;
Actively thinking along on optimisations in design, detailing and model construction;
Supporting further digitalisation and BIM development within the team;
Documenting changes and ensuring correct version and data management.

Your profile:
Has a background in structural engineering, electromechanics, HVAC or a similar technical field;
Has an affinity for technical installations (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety);
Works fluently with Revit and has a strong interest in BIM processes and digital workflows;
Thinks logically and in a structured way and derives satisfaction from analysing, organising and optimising;
Has an eye for detail and monitors quality and consistency of models;
Gets satisfaction from resolving clashes and creating overview in complex technical situations;
Communicates clearly with engineers and other disciplines;
Is open to continuous learning and follows up on new techniques and tools;
Can work both independently and as part of a team;
Is proactive and participates in thinking about feasibility and efficient designs;
Is open to innovation and digitalisation;
