What you will do:
1. Lead and orchestrate the development of mobile features used by thousands of restaurant and retail staff worldwide.
2. Collaborate with backend teams and third-party partners to integrate with systems like POS platforms, online ordering, and delivery services.
3. Maintain and optimise our mobile codebases for scalability, maintainability, and thorough testing.
4. Mentor and guide developers at all levels, fostering their growth and encouraging ownership.
5. Facilitate sprint planning, lead code reviews, and continuously improve team practices for maximum efficiency.
6. Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to create intuitive and high-quality user experiences.
7. Contribute to architectural decisions and the exploration of new technologies and frameworks.
8. Act as a communication bridge, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
What you will bring:
9. 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a deep understanding of the full application lifecycle.
10. Proven experience leading or mentoring software development teams.
11. Hands-on experience with modern coding practices, including conducting code reviews and tackling complex technical challenges.
12. Demonstrated experience working on projects that deliver mobile experiences to customers.
13. Familiarity with mobile technologies and platforms (, iOS, Android) and their interaction with backend services.
