What will you do?
* Ensure the accuracy and end-to-end compliance of Belgian payroll
* Oversee salary calculations, bonuses, holiday pay, exits, DMFA, Belcotax and tax obligations
* Analyze and resolve payroll anomalies and propose sustainable solutions
* Review, develop and implement innovative HR and payroll processes
* Drive and support continuous process improvement (Master Data – Time – Payroll)
* Implement quality controls, KPIs and action plans
* Act as an expert in all types of projects, including strategic HR projects (iHRM, CBAs, digital transformation)
* Advise management and work closely with Finance, Reward, Audit, ICT and external partners
* Contribute to the evolution of HR/payroll systems and participate in testing and deployment phases
* Functionally coordinate HR experts within the HR Shared Service Center (HRSSC)
Who are you?
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
* Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll / hard HR within a complex environment
* Excellent command of Belgian social legislation and payroll processes
* Experience with a social secretariat: an asset
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Comfortable in a role combining operational and strategic responsibilities
* Very good command of Excel
* Good knowledge of HR ERP systems
* Team player, assertive, solution-oriented and focused on continuous improvement
* Excellent knowledge of French or Dutch, good understanding of the other language, and professional proficiency in English
