What you do

1. Follow-up of the entire project from first contact to invoicing. In doing so, you guarantee the internal follow-up of the project, from steering calculation and sample, via feedback to the customer, to conversion into an order, delivery and invoicing. Continuous consultation with the various departments within our organisation is necessary. Complaint handling is also part of your duties.
2. Building excellent customer relations, identifying potential (with existing and new end-users), as well as acquisition and generation of new business and contacts with professional discussion partners at all levels. This means that you will also have regular contact with our distributors and their representatives, who realise the final sale to that enduser, so a good relationship with them is also essential.
3. Together with your colleagues, you enjoy developing strategies and responding to changes and trends in the sector.
4. Translating market needs into specials or new ideas for the standard range. For this, you will be supported by a technical team (Product Developers, Designer, ...) and a back office employee.
5. Market info (prices and products competition, customer, etc.), as well as visits, you report to the Sales Director. Actions to be taken are always done after consultation.
6. Co-organising and manning stands at national and international fairs and open days, active participation in national and international sales meetings and estimating sales potential products.

Who you are

7. You have a higher education and at least 2 years of relevant sales experience in an international production environment. Knowledge of PPE is a plus.
8. You are extremely sales-oriented and manage to achieve maximum results with a structured project approach and passion for your product.
9. You are able to commercially translate technical properties to the customer.
10. You are prepared to delve deeper into the world of textiles and specific products.
11. You are communicative, diplomatic, persuasive and specialised.
12. You are creative, open-minded, solution-oriented and able to function independently as well as in a team.
13. You are fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
14. You strengthen our presence in the Netherlands (home office + frequent customer visits).
