Description As a Demand Planner, you manage the demand volume forecasting and demand planning for your brands and customers. Together with the Brand & Customer Team, you ensure a complete forecast and S&OP process, close gaps, and drive additional business growth. You continuously work on improving forecast accuracy by optimizing methodologies and tools and contribute to the rollout of the new IBP forecasting system using statistical and machine-learning methods. You are part of a team of six, reporting to the Demand Planning Manager BELUX, where you collaborate on improved ways of working and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to deliver transparent and integrated solutions Your responsibilities: Short term & long term forecasting; Ensuring together with Supply Planning and Customer Service (CS) that supply matches demand; Ensuring consistency of forecast from period to period, tracking and explaining changes; Measuring and managing the continuous improvement of forecast accuracy Using market data to enhance demand visibility & increase forecast accuracy; Working with retailers to create event forecasts (promotions, product changes) Facilitating meetings between functions to gain demand forecast consensus Planning, enabling gap closure and extra growth. Helping identify risks and opportunities Running analyses on historical baseline data and "clean" from events impact Enriching baseline forecasts Representing Supply Chain in cross functional brand and customer teams. Company Company located in Brussels Profile Your profile: You have a Master of Science, Major in Business or Supply Chain and a first (2-3y) experience in planning, supply chain or analyst roles. Besides English, you preferably also master either French or Dutch Affinity with ERP-systems, IBP, PowerBI Excellent analytical skills and a strong numerical understanding.
