The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Trackside Field Operations Manager to join our teams and work on client projects located in Charleroi.
As a Senior Trackside Field Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
* Managing trackside installation, execution, and commissioning of railway signaling systems.
* Leading technical exchanges with clients in Dutch and ensuring smooth communication.
* Overseeing the design, implementation, and testing of railway signaling solutions for both trackside and onboard systems.
* Coordinating local and European projects, requiring travel within Flanders and across Europe (Italy, Hungary, Germany, France).
* Supervising a team of 10 professionals, including 4 dedicated to trackside projects.
* Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and driving improvements in installation processes.
Your Profile
* Required degree: Engineering degree or equivalent experience in railway signaling.
* Experience: Extensive experience in trackside operations, preferably in a senior role.
* Proficiency in installation design, execution, and commissioning (trackside or onboard).
* Project management skills are a strong plus.
* Languages: fluency in Dutch and English, French is an advantage.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently for project needs.
