The Surveyor is in responsible for the geometrical check of the existing support (concrete or steel beams) .
In case of Site Survey mission, he is in charge of the geometrical check and report of the existing support structures according to the indications given by the Services Manager, and the particular features of the Survey mission.
Pre-installation
The surveyor is in charge of conducting an initial geometrical check.
After the initial geometrical check, he produces a detailed geometrical survey report for the Services Manager and the Site Manager.
In case of non-conformity of the first order polygonal grid, he manages to install his own second order polygonal grid within the working area, and prepares a report for the Services Manager with the new absolute coordinates, to be shared and check together with the client’s surveyor.
Geometrical check during installation and installation
During the installation., and before grouting and final bolting of the clips, he gives guidance to the installation team on the positioning of the structures.
As part of the installation team, he’s able to install our materials and to work with the team and participates to the grouting operations if needed.
Post-installation
At the end of the installation, he prepares a post-survey report detailing the geometrical features in order to demonstrate and guarantee the technical quality of the installation in geometrical terms, as well as the compliance with the norms of reference and their tolerances.
Profile
* Master of geometry or at least 2 years-experience with surveying activity on steel market sites, with the use of all three above-mentioned survey instruments.
