As a Product Owner for Test Automation and Data Management, you will lead the vision and roadmap for comprehensive testing strategies. Your role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software by implementing robust test automation frameworks and effective test data management practices. You will empower teams to achieve autonomy in testing, ensuring seamless integration and performance of applications across the company. The team, under your leadership, will be responsible for setting clear guidelines and frameworks for teams adopting test automation. Additionally, you will oversee the collaboration and stakeholder management of an external test data management team, ensuring effective steering and alignment with company objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Translate strategic plans into team Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).
2. Act as a servant leader, promoting self-organization within the team.
3. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to facilitate a prioritized and focused way of working.
4. Create and refine the product backlog, setting priorities and monitoring progress with Scrum Masters.
5. Develop and implement strategies for GUI and API automation using frameworks like Playwright and Cypress.
6. Oversee the collaboration with an external test data management team to ensure the development and maintenance of a tool that facilitates the easy creation of test data across the company.
7. Ensure robust test data management practices are in place to support comprehensive testing.
8. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Ensure the integration of test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
10. Improve the developer onboarding experience by providing clear guidelines and resources for test automation and test data management.
11. Establish and track KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of test automation and data management initiatives.
12. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including other departments and external vendors.

Our Ideal Product Owner - Test Automation and Data Management:
20. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
21. Extensive experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in software testing.
22. Strong understanding of various testing methodologies and tools.
23. Technical expertise with test automation frameworks and tools, specifically Playwright and Cypress.
24. Familiarity with test data management practices and tools.
25. Experience in stakeholder management and steering of external teams.
26. Strong leadership and management skills.
27. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
28. Experience in integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
29. Experience in a large telco or telecom environment is an advantage.
30. Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
