Front Desk Operator Responsibilities:
Handle calls and emails, take action on simple tasks, and escalate complex issues.
Monitor Datacom networks (PDH, SDH, DWDM, VOIP, IP/MPLS, LAN) and verify alarms.
Perform Level 1 incident management: troubleshoot, apply workarounds, and escalate as needed.
Manage configuration and standard change requests; coordinate with internal teams.
Support planned works: monitor subcontractor activities, apply changes, and restore configurations.
Back Office Responsibilities (Progressive Role):
Plan and coordinate fiber interventions with internal teams and third parties.
Handle Level 2 incident management and vendor coordination.
Support and manage Datacom infrastructure projects.
You are fluent in Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of the other language. You have a good working knowledge of English. (should hold a bachelor's degree in electronics, ICT or telecommunications, or have equivalent technical experience in this field,
must have already a few years of experience as a Helpdesk officer or Network Operations Support
must have an all-round practical and operational knowledge of modern LAN and WAN networks and their management: must be motivated to continuously refine and broaden his/her technical knowledge of Datacom networks and their management,
must be flexible and approachable (tasks may be suddenly interrupted by urgent operational issues),
