Accountant – Olen, Belgium
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our finance team in Olen, Belgium. This role is ideal for a finance professional with proven operational accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute day-to-day accounting operations, including posting invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing bank statements.
* Collaborate closely with the finance team of our Italian subsidiary and external partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
* Maintain precise financial records and contribute to operational efficiency in the accounting function.
* Communicate effectively in Dutch and English with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a solid track record in operational accounting.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Hands-on experience with invoices, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
* Experience coordinating with international finance teams, preferably with exposure to Italy-based operations.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; Italian proficiency is a plus.
