The job description
We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support our expansion. You will be reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. Our headquarters is in Brussels, where you will need to work out of most of the time. Some remote work from home is an option.
Key activities of the role include:
• Create and manage purchase orders for bikes, components, and spare parts; follow up on supplier confirmations, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Track and update production status; ensure alignment of supply with the sales plan.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics: coordinate transport, book shipments (including overseas), and follow up deliveries with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
• Oversee product receipts with the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate inbound processing, and manage outbound shipments to customers and retailers.
• Maintain and update product data in Odoo, building consensus with internal stakeholders for accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, finance, warehouse) regarding supply, production, and delivery status.
• Book and follow up invoices related to ordering, logistics, and deliveries with suppliers, ensuring smooth financial reconciliation.
• Conduct regular inventory counts in both internal and external warehouses; prepare reporting together with the Finance team to support audit requirements.
• Propose improvements and investigate alternative suppliers (components, logistics, packaging) to optimize cost, quality, and lead times.
• Monitor quality of incoming components and finished bikes in collaboration with production/warehouse teams.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, customs/export requirements, and relevant product standards.
• Support demand forecasting and supply planning activities in collaboration with sales and production teams.
• Coordinate with after-sales/service teams to ensure spare parts availability for customer and retailer needs.
• Prepare regular supply chain performance reports and KPIs (lead times, stock levels, supplier reliability, backorders).
• Contribute to sustainability efforts by supporting packaging optimization, efficient logistics choices, and responsible supplier selection.
The profile
As a professional, we are looking for somebody who:
• Has a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar role.
• Has good proficiency in English and ideally also good capabilities in either french or dutch.
• Has experience in Odoo or at least is a quick learner in terms of ERP systems.
As a person we are looking for somebody who:
• Is driven and can effectively operate in an agile environment.
• Has an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership & responsibility.
• Loves cycling and loves cities.
• Has the ability to quickly get traction in new environments.
